Delete your Hajiri account

Before you request deletion

Removing the Hajiri app from your phone does not delete your account. Account deletion is different from leaving an organisation, disabling attendance access or correcting a record.

If your account belongs to an employer or another organisation, contact the workspace administrator first. The organisation may need to retain employment, attendance, payroll or audit records for lawful business obligations.

Delete from the mobile app

When the deletion control is available in your app version, sign in and open Profile or Settings, choose Account, select Delete account, review the consequences and complete the verification step. If you cannot sign in or do not see the option, use the request method on this page.

Submit a web deletion request

Provide the email or phone number associated with the account, organisation or workspace name, and enough information to verify that you control the account. Do not send a password, biometric image, government identification or payroll export through an ordinary email.

We may ask you to complete a secure verification step. A request submitted by another person cannot be processed without valid authority.

What is deleted

After verification and required organisational review, Hajiri deletes or anonymises account-profile information that is no longer needed, removes active authentication access and disconnects the user from relevant workspaces as directed. Deletion timing may vary where records are backed up or technically queued for secure removal.

What may be retained

Hajiri or the responsible organisation may retain limited records required for legal compliance, payroll and employment obligations, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, financial records, audit integrity or enforcement of agreements. Retained information remains restricted to those purposes and is deleted or anonymised when no longer required.

Timing and confirmation

We aim to acknowledge verified requests promptly and complete eligible deletion within a reasonable period, subject to identity verification, organisational instructions and lawful retention. We will confirm completion or explain why specific information cannot yet be deleted.
