About the role
Hajiri is looking for a Senior Laravel Developer to help build dependable HR, attendance, payroll-preparation and productivity software for organisations in Nepal. You will work on product features that people use in their ordinary workday, from API design and data workflows to secure, clear web experiences.What you will do
- Design, build and maintain Laravel applications, APIs and background jobs.
- Work with product and engineering teammates to turn real customer workflows into reliable features.
- Improve database design, performance, observability and test coverage.
- Review code, contribute to technical decisions and help raise engineering standards.
- Handle sensitive people and attendance data with care, security and clear access controls.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years building production applications with PHP and Laravel.
- Strong experience with MySQL, REST APIs, queues, caching and background processing.
- Comfortable working with Git, code review, automated tests and deployment workflows.
- Ability to break down ambiguous product work and communicate trade-offs clearly.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS, HRMS, payroll, attendance or workflow products is valuable.
Working arrangement
This is a full-time role for candidates based in Nepal. Kathmandu/hybrid is preferred; remote arrangements may be considered for an exceptional fit. Compensation is discussed during the process based on experience and role scope.How to apply
