Many organisations already use an attendance device at a workplace. The next challenge is making that data useful for HR: matching it to the right employee, handling exceptions and connecting approved records to leave and payroll preparation.
Confirm the device and employee mapping
Before relying on imported data, test how device identifiers match employee records. Check a small group for duplicate, missing or incorrect matches. A clean mapping prevents month-end problems that are difficult to explain later.
Keep an exception process
A device record may still need a correction because of a missed check-in, shift change or enrolment issue. Hajiri can receive attendance data from supported ZKTeco and Hikvision devices while keeping the HR review and approval process in one place.
Explain the privacy process
Tell employees what attendance method is in use, the purpose of collection, who can access the record and how a correction can be requested. If face data is involved, communicate the relevant consent and privacy information before enrolment.
Integration should reduce manual consolidation. It should not make the source data harder for employees and managers to understand.
